Camera Shy

Since we are so close to listing the house on the real estate market, I will hold all pictures for a dramatic before and after post. Until then, here are some interesting real estate sites:
  • Trulia This site helps you see average cost per sq ft for any area, as well as many past sale prices.
  • Realtor.com The place to find any home anywhere.
  • Coldwell Banker Homesale My real estate agency of choice.

Mini Update

The kitchen cabinet refacing is nearly complete. Seamless door with hidden hinges make for a beautiful cabinet. Counter to be installed Monday.

While preparing for new dry wall in the kitchen we found original stone under the wall showing the size of the original structure. We hope to use this to our advantage and make a contasting stone wall with some new painting techniques.

Tile tomorrow!

The United Nations Relocates

According to the wires, the UN is relocating to East Norriton, PA. Today's work is performed by Mexicans on the roof and Russians on the windows. The Greeks show up for kitchens soon. All nations are getting along and actually making forward progress, a new concept for the UN! Of course, all work is being choreographed by the Italian in charge :)

The Sky's the Limit

Entire roof structure removed. Plywood replaced, this is felt sheathing that goes beneath shingles - all lined up for installation tomorrow.

Open roof, plywood and sheathing in one shot. It's unsettling to see a roof exposed like this. 2100 sq. ft of roofing removed and installed in just 2 days. Where would we be without our friends from South of the Border?
